Sangean WR-22

Wow it has been a long time since I’ve posted on here, oops! Anyway, today I’m going to give my initial impressions of my new Sangean WR-22 bluetooth FM radio / alarm clock. I purchased it so that I could be awoken to music in the morning (or news, depending) rather than the super obnoxious “beep beep” of my old buzzer-alarm clock. Much more pleasant to wake up to! My caR

What better way to start off my car reviews than with my own. Without further-ado, here’s my caR: it’s an electric silver on nordkap blue 2006 Volvo S60R GT (Geartronic aka girlytronic aka automatic). When this car first came out I thought it was pretty cool looking for a sedan, and I loved the blue dials on the dash. Never thought I would actually own one though. For those of you who don’t know much about the S60Rs/V70Rs, they’re a AWD mid-sized car on the Volvo P2 chassis powered by a 2.

What better way to start off my music reviews than with one of my all time favourite albums, Audio Secrecy by Stone Sour. Starting at the start I suppose, the title track, “Audio Secrecy,” strangely, is a short instrumental intro song which does a great job of setting up “Mission Statement” which is a fantastic way to start the album, easily gets you hooked right off the bat. English teachers and marketeers often talk about baiting your first sentence or idea and using it as a hook to capture your audience.
